Wetter & Windier

Very Wet and Windy at first with strong Gales.
42 mph was recorded by the Shoreham weather station at the height of the wind which was accompanied by a brief heavy shower with hail thrown in.
In between several afternoon showers the sun broke through but it failed to make a big impression on a cool day.

Hawthorn leaves are emerging from winter buds in roadside hedgerows, winter flowering Cherry trees are blossoming. Garden Narcissi have been in flower for up to two weeks.
I took the decision to release the Tadpoles rescued earlier fom frosts.
I tipped them from the plastic aquarium into the pond, they will have to fend for themselves among the other aquatic invertebrates.

Favourite recently heard quote:
'-a good answer now is better than the perfect answer too late.'
