Last day of March

Another warm day reaching 16.2C. by early afternoon. Cloud built up later and temperatures fell accordingly.

A Peacock butterfly settled on the edge of a warm stone in the garden and basked in bright sunshine for about two minutes.

In the pond, Tadpoles are developing rapidly.
Stickleback fish were seen close to the surface as the water begins to clear.

The porcelain mannikin with shattered skin fears attack
the eager pack lift up their pitchers ,they carry all they lack
the liquid has congealed which has seeped out through the crack
and the tickler takes his stickleback
the carpet crawlers heed their callers
-Genesis from 'The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway'
