July Weather
The month's weather has settled into a pattern of warm cloudy, sometimes wet days with some occassional longer spells of sunshine.
It seems to have been a wetter month than previous years but a check of statistics on the Shoreham Weather site shows that average rainfall in July 2003 was quite similar.
The difference is that this year double the rain fell on a single day than the previous July. This single day figure was matched in 2001.
Temperatures have not reached previous highs of almost 29C and the July avereage is also slightly lower this year.
Winds have been noticable but the average speed has been lower than the previous three years.
