A brief walk around Malthouse Meadow at 5 pm this evening was not as eventful as some visits. There were a few Meadow Browns and Skippers on the wing but they are not happy in the breezy air and prefer to settle in the grasses.
The elusive Small Copper were present, I saw two seperate individuals.
