The five day local forecast was predicted to include cloud and storms but now it looks like clear and sunny for the week to come.
Today, after a dull breezy start, the temperature has reached 20 C. as the Barometric presssure has risen to 1020 which on the wall barometer is 'Fair'. High clouds are stacked up towards the north. Lower thin clouds have created a slight haze but the sun has burnt through to create a humid atmosphere to the day.
I have spent most of the working day in a garden with a substancial amount of lawn.
As an ecology minded gardener I try to allow some of the lawn plants to flower by leaving a suitable interval between mowings and cutting at a height for the plants to survive.
The Birds-foot Trefoil have begun to flower amid the masses of lawn Daisies Bellis perennis
