As autumn closes in the numbers of insects seen has fallen.
A few odd Red Admiral butterflies were spotted in October.
A single Blue in North Lancing was presumed to be a Holly Blue. It was attracted to a flowery garden bathed in sun.
The abundance of Ivy flowers has provided last orders for many winged invertebrates including bees, hoverflies and wasps.
The fungi season is now in full swing and a good crop have appeared in local gardens and wildlife areas.
