Mushrooms and Toadstools

16 October 2004
On a mild October day under an overcast sky, there was a typical and wide selection of the usual fungi from large to small mushroom and toadstools in the Beech wood at Lancing Clump and amongst the restored chalkland meadows.
This small mushroom still has not been identified. I do not know if the radial lines help with the ID? It is not alone without a label. I still find it tricky to be sure of an accurate name for even the common fungi.
