So many images and reports have put on the Lancing Ring reports of butterflies, fungi, herptiles, etc. on the Lancing Ring web pages, that it will take much too long to load even for users with broadband (unless you have visited the web page before and the images are in the cache, temporary internet folders etc.)

I do not have time to visit this area as much as I would like, which is different in character (restored grassland and beechwood) from the chalkhill herbland (Mill Hill) just three miles away on the other side of the River Adur.
