Fox found near school

As children arrived with their parents at the local primary school this morning an emaciated, barely live adult Fox was retrieved from the bottom of the grass bank between the Freshbrook First School and the Grinstead Lane bridge.
The Police were in attendance as a team from Grove Lodge veterinary group collected the animal in a white basket and took it away.
The prognosis was that the animal would not survive.
