Today there is no sign of the flightless blackbird that had lived in the garden for the past week. It had showed no signs that flight was imminent, without full wing and tail feathers it did not look possible. It is a possibility that the neighbours two cats which have returned from a cattery at the weekend may know something about it. We rather hope not.
