Cold wind blowing from north today while the sky is showing patches of blue between billowing cumulus clouds.
In the garden was a nugget of excitement when I got some good views of the Goldcrest as it flitted around the garden before disappearing from view.
A bird was seen in the front garden yesterday that got us thumbing through the guide book, it had a brown back with creamy underparts and was about the size of a Robin, it may have been a Chiffchaff but seemed too squat in shape.
