Wintery

It's cold out today!
And the birds know it, twenty or more House Sparrows have been voraciously eating the Sunflower seed from the feeder and the spilt seeds on the floor below.
A handful of Starlings are taking the fat and peanuts and getting into squabbles whenever two of them try to share the same meal.
There seem to be about six Greenfinch feeding among the Sparrows or perched in the Hawthorn tree overlooking the garden.
