My reports during the latter half of 2006 were somewhat sporadic, I intend to be more observant this year!
The first thing that must be said is that the weather is mild for Januaury. The forecast high temperature this week is 11'C.
Unusually, the turn of the year was marked by gales and heavy rain in many parts of the country as well as here in the south. Cloud predominated until yesterday (9th Jan) when the sun shone warmly although temperatures where held back by a fresh breeze from the south east direction.
Today is a mix of blue sky and cloud in gusty light winds.
