Queens Head - Vespula vulgaris

This Queen wasp somehow found itself in the house and attached to the net curtains on the window half way up the stairs!
I collected it in an empty honey jar and took a few pictures through the top and sides. This one is a cropped version of a head on view through the side of the glass jar.
