This was among three Redshanks I saw feeding in the east end of Widewater Lagoon.
A family of Swans with adults and juveniles looked on as a small boat was hauled out of the water and loaded onto a trailer.
The trailer later broke on it's way up Grinstead Lane and the boat had to be retrieved by a breakdown truck.

It looks like a Redshank to me. What else could it be? Not a Turnstone.
I have not taken a worthwhile photograph this year!
