Grey Phalarope

This is the Grey Phalarope (Phalaropus fulicarius) on Brooklands boating lake that local bird watchers have got excited about.
It's a scarce passage migrant that is known to turn up in coastal ponds and lakes, often after storms when it is driven to take shelter.
